Epilogue

A Personal Invitation to You: The Spirit and the Bride Say: Come! (Revelation 22:17-21)

Here we close the final volume of this series. Together, we have traveled a long road. We saw empires rise and fall in the prophecies of Daniel. We watched the Woman's struggle against the Dragon. We heard the thunder of the Four Horsemen, the sound of the Trumpets, and the silence of the Seventh Seal. We saw the horror of the Plagues and the glory of the Holy City.

You now hold the map of the future in your hands. But a map takes no one anywhere if they never take the first step. Prophetic knowledge, on its own, does not save. The devil knows the prophecies better than we do — he knows he "has but a short time" — and that knowledge will not save him.

Revelation was not written to satisfy our curiosity about the future, but to transform our present. It is not a book about dates and monsters; it is a book about a Wedding. And the invitation is in your hand.

The Last Words of Jesus

If you knew these were the last words you'd ever speak to the world, what would you choose to say? Jesus' final statements in the Bible, in Revelation 22, sum up everything that matters:

1. The promise of urgency: "Behold, I am coming quickly" (v. 7, 12, 20). He repeats it three times. He knows our tendency is to fall asleep, to procrastinate, to assume "the Lord delays His coming." He insists: "I am coming fast." Don't put off getting ready until tomorrow. Tomorrow may never come.

2. The free offer: "And the Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!' And let him who hears say, 'Come!' And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely" (v. 17). God ends the Bible with the door wide open. Are you thirsty? Do you feel an emptiness that money, career, sex, or fame cannot fill? That thirst is for God. And the price? "Freely." You don't have to pay for your past failures — Jesus already paid. You don't need to "get better" before coming to Him. Come as you are, and He will give you the Water of Life.

The Danger of Being Left Outside

But the book also ends with a solemn warning: "Outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie" (v. 15).

Being "left outside" the Holy City is not just missing a party — it is losing existence itself. It is choosing eternal death. And notice that it isn't only the "great sinners" who are left outside, but whoever "loves and practices a lie." If you love the illusions of this world (Babylon) more than the truth of Christ, you are choosing to be left outside. There is no middle ground. There is no "fence-sitting Christian" in the time of the end.

My Hope for You

In writing this book, my desire was never simply that you would understand the symbols, but that you would fall in love with the Author of the symbols.

I, Ismael, as a pastor, a theologian, and someone who seeks after God just as you do, have a dream. I dream of the day I will stand on the Sea of Glass. I want to embrace my family, see my friends again, and meet the heroes of the faith. But I also want to meet you. I want you, on that day, to come find me — maybe near the Tree of Life — and say: "That book helped me decide to be here."

Imagine the joy of that meeting! Imagine living together for a thousand years in Heaven, and then for all eternity on the New Earth, never again fearing bad news, never again weeping at a funeral, never again feeling the sting of sin.

The Decision Is Yours

The Holy Spirit is touching your heart right now. Do not close this book and go back to life as usual, as if nothing had happened. Time is short. The signs are being fulfilled. The Eighth King is rising. The stage is set.

The White Rider is already mounted on His horse. The final question is not "When will Jesus return?" but "How will He find you when He does?"
